This is the first time that i have seen a Buster Crabbe film. Did he make many westerns i would say that they may not have been released out here in Australia

Boy, Darryl, you gave me a challenge! I did some research and found out that 2-time Olympic swimmer, Buster Crabbe, made 36 Westerns. 13 where he played a romanticized version of outlaw Billy the Kid, and 23 where he was cowboy hero Billy Carson. According to Wikipedia “he also played the title role in the serials ‘Tarzan the Fearless,’ ‘Flash Gordon’ and ‘Buck Rogers.’ Crabbe is the only actor to play all three of these top syndicated comic strip heroes of the 1930s.”
By the way, he won the 1932 Olympic gold medal of the 400-meter swimming event and a bronze for the 1,500 meters freestyle event in the 1928 Olympics.
